How Does Subscribie Tackle Late Payments?

When an attempted payment collection is unsuccessful, the charge is retried a set number of times to collect the payment (by default 4 retries).

If the payment attempt falls during the next subscription payment cycle, both the attempted payment collection and the next subscription payment will be collected. Below is a video showing an example of the automatic payment collection retries.

I’m glad you asked,  let's talk about how you can stay informed about the status of your late payments. We believe in keeping you in the loop without needing to do anything. That's why we send you handy notification emails whenever a payment fails. You'll receive a reason why the payment didn't go through, allowing you to get your customer’s information to reach out to your customer and provide them with the support they need.

If payments are repeatedly missed by a subscriber, we'll make sure you're aware of the situation with an email notifying you of the failed payment, allowing you to kindly remind them to keep their account in order before the next payment retry. This way, you can access your customer’s contact information and ask them to rectify the issue before the next payment is retried.
